About the theme

Summer Olympics covers the events as you'd see them in the broadcast guide — swimming, archery, gymnastics, fencing, badminton, taekwondo, marathon, javelin, discus, equestrian, triathlon. The long compound names (gymnastics, badminton, taekwondo, trampoline) anchor the bigger grids; the four-letter judo and golf hide in the filler because there's not much constraint to lock onto. Heavy on the formal-sport-vocabulary letter palette.
